• It gives us great pleasure in extending you and the members of IDEA and WAAE , a very warm invitation to attend the 1^st International Africa Arts Conference 2020-Uganda to be held at the Makerere University, Main Hall, Main Campus, Uganda under the theme: “Unlock the creative potential of the African Nation.”
  

   

  Africa Arts Association and Uganda National Cultural Centre, together with the Makerere University will host the conference during the week of March 24-28, 2020. This International Arts Conference is a forum to bring researchers, academics and industry professionals in all Arts disciplines to share knowledge and research contribution in the evolving arts, related to the development of the nation of Africa and world at large.

   

  The important features of the symposium will be:

• ·         Various lectures from distinguished Universities from different countries.
• ·         Short oral presentations from young research artists
• ·         A round-table meeting and discussion with experts from different corners of the world. 
• ·         Publication of proceeding of conference
• ·         Exhibitions from art educators and artists
• ·         Live Performance from different Arts stake holders

We would like to once again extend an invitation to you and all members of IDEA and WAAE, as arts educators, through your office we humbly request you to invite the members of IDEA and WAAE  to attend this conference where arts will share and learn along with the rest of the continent. The first Executive Official Council of AfrAA( Africa Arts Association) will also be elected during the conference and it will be great to have a representative from each country. Calls are now open for abstracts and we will appreciate submissions from members of IDEA and WAAE.

Please note that: the registration fee is $200/US300 to developing and developed countries respectively, the paid fee will cover Accommodation, Conference Meals, Transport with in Uganda, Conference Bag and Conference T-shirt. We have an MOU agreement with Ethiopian airline as our Official Airline Sponsor, it will give 20% on Business class and 15% Discount on Economy, a code will be given out to delegates that have confirmed their attendance to claim for this discount when they will be buying flight tickets.
